The Pousada Santa Cristina (official name Pousada Condeixa a Nova) is a former palace which was built in the 16th century.

This Palace has been completely reconstructed, and transformed into a charming hotel. It is situated close to the Lisbon-Oporto motorway (A1), near the historical university city of Coimbra. Just 2 Km distant at Conímbriga, are some of the best preserved Roman ruins in Europe.

The Pousada is surrounded by park-like greenery, and presents the traveler with an altogether peaceful and pleasant place to stop for a day - or a week.
